Our story
Eliška Petříková
As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a pianist and later a Japanologist. However, fate eventually led her to Prague to study botany, where she also met Martin for the first time. Besides experimenting with plants in the lab, she loves singing, playing the piano, and indulging in an unreasonable amount of anime and Korean dramas.
Martin Trávníček
Martin initially wanted to become a chemist. However, after burning a hole in his parents’ lawn with his vinegar volcano in high school, his path twisted toward biology. While studying in Prague, he became completely captivated by virology. In his free time, he passionately pursues graphic design and 3D printing. Among his talents is pushing the limits of the lethal dose of caffeine in the bloodstream. And it was Eliška who invited him for the most important cup of instant coffee of his life during exam season.

Details
The place
The ceremony and celebration will take place at Třeštický mlýn near Telč.
How to get there
If you’re not traveling by car, the most convenient option is a bus to Telč, where you can transfer to a bus heading to Třeštice. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Jihlava to Třeštice. If needed, our drivers can pick you up at one of the nearby bus or train stations (e.g., Třešť, Telč, Batelov) with prior arrangement.
Parking
You can easily park in the area behind the guesthouse (follow the signs on-site).
Arrival
To ensure you’re not waiting too long or feeling rushed, we recommend arriving at the venue between 10:00 and 11:30 AM. Upon arrival, our lovely helpers will greet you and provide you with all the important details.
Dress code
The dress code is smart casual—elegant yet comfortable. Be prepared for warm August weather and the possibility of a summer storm. Most importantly, you should feel comfortable. Kindly leave suits and white dresses at home.
Taking photos
We would love for you to share your photos and videos from the wedding. However, please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, as our photographer will capture those special moments.
Reception
We haven't forgotten anyone, so you can look forward to vegetarian, vegan, and other alternative dishes as well.
Gifts
The greatest gift for us will be seeing you at the wedding and celebrating everything together. If you would still like to give us a gift, we would be happy with any financial contribution towards our honeymoon.
Departure
Departure is scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd, by 10:00 AM. If needed, our drivers can take you to nearby bus or train stations (e.g., Třešť, Telč, Batelov) upon prior arrangement.
